Lesson for the day
Be very careful with reversal trading its a tough cookie to play been trying for a while with mixed results. I think for me its expecting too much and not getting out as soon as I have profit.
Here's what usually happen to me as I have observed lately when the reversal happen the expectation begun to accelerate so instead of getting out early because its a temporary reversal I will hold thinking I can perhaps milk more. Because it does happen I have experienced that too but deep inside my psyche I also knew it does not happen most of the time the tendency is it will soon resume to its prevailing trend 80% most likely.
But as usual when I'm in the trade, the tendency to ignore the warning and feeling greedy will take over. The end result is me giving back the gains and counting my losses. This event does not happen to me always because I usually chide trading reversals. Its the challenge that attracts me but I'm not experience enough to handle such. Its a learning process that's all but it stinks in a way.
See you next time and good luck to you.

Studying my recent trades I have observed that most of the entries are too early. It shows that if I've waited a little bit I still can catch the move. So wtf :o) I'm in a hurry? Another advantage of having the patience to wait is that I will not be caught holding the bag or stressing out bad timing trades.
Its all about timing and the patience to wait for the price action to clearly give you the signal. If you miss your trade its fine there will be another one coming soon. No regrets, no stress, no risk to your capital. How wonderful is that?
This time around I will make sure I wait a little more. Patience. Patience. Patience. It pays.

Price Action Holy Grail - Support and Resistance
I'd like to share another awesome article from Jonathon Fox, fulltime FX trader and head trading coach at Forex School Online. Give it a chance learn it, practice it, and profit consistently. Good luck!
------------
Many traders hold the belief that trading has to be complicated. They believe that the reason they are losing money is because trading is a very complicated business. They believe that they just have to figure it out. This thinking is complete bull dust!
A lot of traders I talk with have a very familiar story. When looking to become profitable in the Forex market they start adding indicators to their charts. They continue to lose money and then think the more indicators they add to their charts the better chance they have of making money! Before long the price is covered in many different indicators and rubbish! All this tends to do is make the trader very confused. They have successfully made trading complicated but they still won’t be profitable! Many trader’s overlook the very basics of Forex trading. Trading can be simple and in fact it should be! One of the most time proven and powerful trading strategies is support and resistance.
Support and Resistance
Support and resistance works simply due to the fact that many traders follow the same levels in the market. These levels end up becoming self-fulfilling because many traders all over the world act the same way at the same levels. An example of this is when price gets to a solid support level. People all over the world will start buying at this support level, and before you know it price has jumped and rejected this support level!
When looking to make a trade from support or resistance traders should stick to only the best and most obvious levels. The more obvious and important the support or resistance level, the more chance of other traders noticing it also and all acting in the same way.
How to Plot Support and Resistance
Quite often once a trader has learnt how to plot support and resistance they go way over board. They begin plotting lines upon lines. It is a plain fact that this is just not necessary. All that is needed is two lines. Keep in mind we are trying to keep our charts clean and simple. At the end of the day we need to be able to clearly see the price and how it is behaving.
When plotting out support and resistance levels we need to think of them as zones. This is very important because this is not an exact science. Support and resistance cannot be marked to the pip and should be plotted with the level in mind rather than the exact line.
Only two levels are required to be marked on trader’s charts. One needs to be marked above where price currently is and another for below where price currently is. There is no point in marking levels above or below these two. For other support and resistance levels to come into play they would first need to break the two levels we have marked. Once price does break through one of the two levels plotted we can then reassess and again mark the two levels that apply.
An example of marking these two levels above and below price is below. Notice how clean the chart is and also that the lines have been marked very thick to represent levels rather than specific lines.
How to use Support and Resistance with Price Action Trading
Support and resistance levels should be the cornerstone of a Price Action trader’s arsenal but they shouldn’t be used alone. Traders should look to use these levels with Price Action signals as confirmation to enter a trade.
Using support and resistance in this way a trader can increase their chance of placing a winning trade. An example of making a trade from a resistance level is below. Notice this Pin Bar reversal tested this level before firing back lower and confirming that the resistance level is still valid.
Like all tools and trading techniques support and resistance is something that needs to be practised and perfected. Don’t go straight to trading on a live account. Practise plotting your levels on a demo account and never go live until you have proven you can make money consistently on a demo account.

We must remember what support and resistance is when marking it on our charts. Support and resistance areas are simply the previously tested levels in the market that price has respected. If price has respected an area in the past there is a good chance price will respect it again, should price test it.
When marking our two levels above and below the current price we are simply looking for the two levels that price may struggle at or reject. An example of solid support and resistance being marked on a chart is below. Take note of how these levels were respected in the past. We could reasonably expect price to once again respect these levels should it test them.
Support and resistance levels should be the cornerstone of a Price Action trader’s arsenal but they shouldn’t be used alone. Traders should look to use these levels with Price Action signals as confirmation to enter a trade.

Price Action Trading
A price action article written by Jonathon Fox, full time FX trader and owner of Forex School Online. I'm re-publishing it here because a lot of his trading experience are so similar to mine and I am pretty sure many of you out there share the same story. Enjoy... :o)
Price Action - Turn Your Trading Around
As most traders I started out trying to find an indicator or black box system that I was able to press start on and then just sit back and cash the cheques. This I thought (like many) would lead to the lifestyle I desired! After all isn’t that what all Forex traders start out looking for? Most that come to the Forex business are searching for a way to make money that allows them to be their own boss but most importantly allow them some more time!
Searching for the “Holy Grail”
Once this failed I started looking into other indicators that I could place on my chart that would give me an advantage of placing a winning trade. The mindset I had (and many others have) was that the more indicators I could place on a chart the more chance I had of placing a winning trade.
Before you know it I had the best looking charts in the business. I had all these coloured lines and moving averages. At the time I thought I knew how they all worked but looking back all I really achieved was to make myself more and more confused.
Once this didn’t work I began looking for trading knowledge. I studied books, courses and was searching for the “Holy Grail”. If this story sounds familiar, don’t be worried as I have found this to be a very common story over the years.
When my Trading Started Turning Around
The ironic thing about trading Forex is traders come to Forex looking for the lifestyle of their choosing, and before they know it they find themselves stuck to a computer screen trying to scalp of the 1 min chart with 15 indicators all over their charts. Without even realising it they are now spending even less time doing what they wish such as spending time with family than they did before they came to trading.
I finally stumbled upon what is called Price Action trading. Finding Price Action changed my trading career forever. I stripped of all the indicators and began to read just the price only. For the first time I was actually not confused looking at coloured lines and wondering what to do! I could actually see the raw PRICE!
This was many years ago and since then I have become a very successful Price Action trader. Once I learnt that all we need to know is actually in the price, my trading began to change. I went from entering trades and being uncertain to entering trades with confidence and my trading began to turn the corner.
No longer was I looking at a chart and wondering what some other indicator was saying or if one line crossed what I should be doing. I began to learn that everything the big guys do in the market can be gathered from exactly how the price behaves on the chart. I began placing trades and my account began to turn the corner.
Keep it Simple!
I found the more I made things simple the more success I began to have. One of the biggest problems I have found in trading is that people think that trading should be complicated so they make it so. The more they lose the more they form the idea that trading should be complicated and hard and on the cycle goes. The exact opposite is in fact the case.
No fancy indicators or complicated systems are needed to make money consistently in the Forex market. The correct knowledge of exactly how price works and also money management techniques is all a trader needs to begin to turn their trading around.
I have now turned my hand to helping aspiring traders find their way out of the darkness and confusion that indicators create. It is now my duty to help traders learn the skills of Price Action trading that will put them on the path to a long and successful trading career.

Double whammy
Last night I've entered long EURAUD set my stop and take profit point and then had a dinner with my wife an hour or so later I came back to found out I've already loss -34. Curious, I've looked into babypips FX calendar; there was a positive news from the Australian employment data which have caused the spike. I was not even able to capture the chart. Oh, well sometimes reading the news help.
BTW, I've just woke up its 4AM don't know why I'm awake too early. Anyhow, I've noticed that my other long position EURGBP has been moving fast in the opposite direction maybe another news event is going on so I cut loss immediately for -16.
That's it for me this week no more trading. I'm going to back to bed. :o)

Listen to your instinct
I've shorted GBPAUD @1.5110 and got out @1.5000 for -12 Pips I have a negative intuition on this pair but decided to give it the benefit of a doubt. The trend is clearly up right? So I don't know what I'm thinking.
On another note GBPUSD pulled back and touched my point @1.58239 for a -4 Pips.
I am not done writing this when EURUSD came back see the last red bar on chart that down move hit my stop @1.3196 for +4 Pips
The Yen are firming up against many of its pairs except for the green buck its time to take anything the GB is offering as that last red candlestick see below is a picture of weakness. Closed long GBPJPY @132.785 for +6 Pips. Be careful the landscape has changed.
The slate is clean and its time to wait...

5 Fundamental Truths of Trading
Selected from the book Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas the texts on the right are my short personal take.
1. Anything can happen. - Means no guarantees whatsoever.
2. You don't need to know what is going to happen next in order to make money. - Let the market be your guide.
3. There is a random distribution between wins and losses for any given set of variables that define an edge. - Nothing is 100% in this business
4. An edge is nothing more than an indication of a higher probability of one thing happening over another. - The art of anticipation.
5. Every moment in the market is unique. - Observe the market and trade the probabilities.

Where's the USD?
Time to watch the USD Index. The US market may also correct if USD can find support and proceed to make a bounce. It is also possible that downward momentum will continue to persist breaking this previous support. As always be flexible use the market as our guide. Plenty of opportunities on both sides.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I got introduced with this lovely song more than three months ago when my wife and I bought Just Dance 3 for our Wii game console. Now you know we love to play this game lol! Well, its more of her than me as I'm not a good dancer truly can't move fast enough to mimic the dancing animation on the screen, always a second or two late I'm trying my best hahaha.
Alright without further ado, I'd like to dedicate this love song to my lovely wife.

Why Trading is the Best Business in the World
I'd like to start the year with a review of a journal written last October 13, 2009 by Scott, a highly successful momentum day trader. I've found it beneficial to read this over and over to reinforce my commitment of one day becoming a successful business trader myself. His trading blog BankRobberTrades is a vast resource of valuable information for traders in any level of experience.
I started working when I was nine years old, mowing lawns and shoveling driveways, so that I could buy a motorcycle. In two years I saved $330. Big money back in 1974.
Since that time I’ve always tried to be my own boss and have started numerous businesses and ventures. Some successful, some not. I successfully sold my last business which was a tire recyling plant that changed car and truck tires into granulated/powderized rubber, 70,000 sq.ft. of machines and a 24/7 operating schedule. Lessons learned along the way have brought me to where I am today, enjoying the best business in the world.

Here are some reasons my cynical
side thinks why:
NO EMPLOYEES – Face it, employees
are the biggest pain in the ass. From payroll to sick days to screwing things
up, more headaches come from them than any other area.
NO CUSTOMERS - Sure, without them
you are finished but chasing accounts receivables and placating unreasonable
people is a terrible way to spend your days.
NO RENT – Not having to deal with
pernicious landlords or their underlings whose only joy in life is jacking up
the rent is a real treat.
NO LAWYERS – IMO lawyering is one
step away from being a crackhead. Addicted to more fees, not caring who they
rob to get more.
NO INVENTORY – Buying or making
stuff and having to store it becomes a hassle.
NO ADVERTISING – How do you know
if it really works or not.
NO BANKERS – Being held over a
barrel is really not a lot of fun.
NO MACHINERY – Having to fix
broken stuff all the time wears you down.
NO LICENSING – being shuffled
around city hall in order to pay them to let you operate is demeaning.
NO COMMUTE – Nothing I can think
of sucks the life out of you more than fighting rush hour traffic everyday.
Now my positive side can add some
things here. With trading, everything starts and stops with you. Your decisions
alone determine your future. Immediate results return from your efforts. And you can work at home in your
underwear.
If you are having trouble getting
into trading and can't seem to find you way, remember that you have the ability
to do it. It just takes work and realization of what is holding you back from
success. Attack these areas with an almost missionary zeal, get it right and
the rewards will be more than you can ever imagine.
